How is this different from IT Staff Augmentation?

Staff aug is short-term spike capacity, often individual engineers slotted into your existing team for weeks-to-months. Remote Engineers is a dedicated long-term team (3–12+ months) — same engineers, same lead, same pod — under one named delivery owner. Think permanent capacity uplift, not gig hiring.

What's the minimum team size?

We can start with a single dedicated engineer, but the model really shines with a pod of 3–8 (a tech lead + senior engineers + specialists). Smaller than 3 and you lose the team dynamic; larger than 8 and we recommend splitting into multiple pods.

Will my engineers stay long-term?

Our overall engineer retention is 90%+. On individual client engagements, average tenure on the same project is 2.5 years. We've had pods running 4+ years on the same client without a single engineer change. Long retention is our delivery model, not a happy accident.

What happens if an engineer leaves?

We absorb the transition — backfill from our pre-vetted pipeline within 2 weeks, with a 2-week shadow period where both engineers work alongside your team. The departing engineer documents handover under our delivery lead's supervision. You pay nothing for the overlap.

Do you handle HR, payroll and infrastructure?

Yes — all on the Redian side. We handle hiring, contracts, payroll, benefits, performance management, infrastructure (laptops, VPN, secure workspace), security and IT. Your team just gets engineers ready to ship on day one.

Which time zones can you cover and which hub is best for us?

5 hubs: Noida (India · IST), Nairobi (Kenya · EAT), Dubai (UAE · GST), London (UK · GMT), Atlanta (USA · EST). If you're in Europe or the Middle East, Kenya or UAE works best for overlap. If you're in the Americas, Atlanta or India late-shift. We can mix engineers across hubs in a single pod.

Can engineers work in our office occasionally?

Yes — we organise on-site visits quarterly or for key launches. Visa support, travel and accommodation handled on our side; you only pay the engineer's standard rate during the on-site period.

How is pricing structured?

Monthly flat per engineer based on seniority and role — no hourly time tracking, no over-time billing. Predictable monthly invoices. The pod's delivery lead and quarterly business reviews are included at no extra cost.
